Concept Group developed the Blackfriars scheme in partnership with JCDecaux and it becomes the latest addition to their network of transvision screens. Transvisions are elevated digital screens which showcase advertising to travelling commuters in rail stations in the most sought after locations.
Concept’s innovative approach to this project allowed JCDecaux to achieve a media first by installing a large format digital screen into the central concourse at Blackfriars, a station which previously had no large format high level advertising. Concept’s support on this project has brought advertising to a brand new and affluent audience.
The install involved significant alteration to the existing cladding system, as well as the introduction of a custom designed steel frame, allowing the screen to appear recessed into the wall and appear as part of the fabric of the building.
