Press Release | Concept Signs - Think Creative, Think Solution, Think Concept

Concept Sign & Display, a leading visual communication specialist that provides full turnkey solutions, today announced the launch of its new Outdoor Media Services division. Following 16 years of success in the UK sign industry, Concept has gained the expertise and capability to deliver bespoke large format display structures of unmatched quality.

“With our design and build capabilities it was natural progression into this market” commented Sean Morrough, Managing Director of Concept Sign & Display. “Our expertise and proven delivery of bespoke display structures is a real USP, we thrive on design challenges that push traditional methods and the opportunity to provide clients with innovative solutions” said Morrough.

Concept Outdoor Media Services has completed their first spectacular backlit advertising site for Forrest Media, the largest and longest running, privately owned outdoor advertising company in the UK. Concept provided a bespoke display solution for The Xpressway; a spectacular double backlit display located in Glasgow.

The architecturally-designed ‘V’ angled roadside billboard has an 11 metre central totem structure which supports the display faces, each measuring 50 square metres. The two faces were designed to sit fully contra levered off a central structure which required a custom-made steel sub frame to support. The company’s ability to tailor traditional structural and fabrication methods to deliver completely bespoke solutions has attracted an extensive project portfolio and renowned clients.

The iconic Xpressway display is the latest addition to Forrest Media’s OOH offering and delivers huge impact to traffic travelling both east and west on Glasgow’s bustling Clyde Expressway.

“We are absolutely delighted with the end result and the feedback we have already received from our customers has been terrific. The impact of the display, particularly at night when the illumination kicks-in is stunning” commented Marc Keenan, Managing Director of Forrest Media.
